Sound & Time was the result of a two month residency for the Clocktower Gallery at Pioneer Works over the summer of 2015. The residency focused on developing experimental approaches towards making present the reality of the transitory. To this end, LDP developed an audio visual work that made use of technics in experimental candle design, modular video synthesis, and random, pseudo-random and intuitive composition processes. The beeswax candles were developed to burn at different rates in order to "clock" the composition which in turn clocked and controlled the video synthesizer.
